Summertime Companions

I was at a campground with a group of friends & we were using this pavilion. It was a brutally hot day. The tin roof reflection was so bright that you couldn't look at it without it hurting your eyes. I felt that the grass would be scorched by the sun. There must has been a 20 degree difference between the sunny side & the shade.   I really loved the 2 chairs joined together by a little table.  It seemed to  epitomized  summertime & the close bond with new  friends made over the summer. This painting won 1st place in the oil category.
