I have always loved this buildings with their pink walls & interesting architecture. There is one wall of the top floor that remains standing with a tiny tree that tried desperately to survive. The pigeons & doves are well aware of the hole in the corner design. The building on the right, actually has 5 windows with the middle (3rd) being more squared than the others. There are a couple of marks where college kids had egged the buildings downtown. I had had my exhibit, for the July Fest, across the street from these buildings. The desire to paint them was so strong that on the 3rd day, I brought my easel & paints to create this painting. I did have to go back later in the week to finish it. I used handmade paint made for me, from a fellow artist & friend, John Carroll.
