Past Pleasures Forgotten

This paining was during the summer time when the little white flowers were in bloom. Decades ago, people use to sit on these benches up above the park's parking lot & either have picnics or just sit there & enjoy the cool shade. As you can see, these benches are falling in with the wild flowers & weeds have taken over.

Many people had forgotten the pleasure of just sitting there & listening to the sound of nature.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the parking lot; crowds have gathered for a different event. They're totally oblivious to the benches on the hill, under the trees.
