Pitcher's Mill

I had painted this at the Maine Fest 1st Paintout. I picked this subject, mainly, because of the painted sign on the building was still legible !!!! So, this was my entry  for the contest. Beautiful building- I met Stan the curator- but I never finished my painting in time to go in & look around. Next time. It was founded in 1830 & closed 1955. I met a lot of people while I was painting. Weather started out cold; mostly because I was sitting right by the road & receiving the wind from the trucks & cars traveling 55 mph or more.
